All the company's vessels are adequately insured. This insurance covers

a) Hull and Machinery - which essential is cover for the vessels goods and all machinery carried on board.

b) Protection & Indemnity - Covers for all passenger related liabilities whilst on board the ferries.

NB: The above two policies are placed overseas by reputed Lloyds underwriters for lack of local capacity to underwrite the risk. The ferry vessels, the loading systems, equipment and ramp approaches set up are each year subjected to independent underwriter audit to evaluate the risk factor and certification for insurance.

c) Public Liability - Insures all users of the ferry against any possible exposure to risk prior to boarding the vessels.
